The 6th annual conference of the French Association of Environmental and Resource Economists will be held at the Faculty of Economics, University of Rennes 1 on August 29-30, 2019. The local organizers are the CREM and SMART-LERECO (INRA) teams.
The aim of the conference is to promote scientific research in the field of environmental economics. All theoretical or applied works are welcome, on topics such as biodiversity, fishery, agriculture, forestry, water, energy, climate, pollution, green growth, and bio-based economy.

The Conference will take place at the Faculty of Economics, Rennes, Brittany region, France. The Faculty is located in the core center of the city of Rennes, directly connected to train station by a metro station close to it. Lunches will be provided at the Faculty. A special event – Dinner at the restaurant "Le Picadilly" – is scheduled for the Thursday evening, after a Reception at Rennes City Hall.
This 6th annual conference will also be an opportunity to award the FAERE prize for the best environmental paper by a young economist. The particulars of this contest can be found at the Conference website.
